For over 15 years, Nojo Design has been designing superb custom furniture solutions. Showcasing the talents of designer, Jo Roessler, Nojo specializes in the creation of one of a kind and limited edition high-end residential and commercial furniture. Individually handcrafted in Nojo's Easthampton, Massachusetts studio, the furniture is designed for style and longevity.

Combining sleek lines and smooth functionality, Jo handcrafts each piece using domestic hardwoods in harmony with exotic wood details. Solid construction, dovetailed drawers, fine finishes and contrasting woods display a commitment to the highest quality of craftsmanship. Nojo's work is like no other - it will fit exactly in your space and aesthetic and give you daily pleasure, now and in the future.

Nojo Design is a proud member of 100% Blast, a consortium of Designer/Craftsmen who collaborate in promoting their unique visions for private and public spaces. The group includes a diverse mix of artists whose work ranges from purely sculptural to highly functional.

Our Studio

In January of 2001, Nojo Design purchased the former Majestic Theater, a 1920's vaudeville theater in Easthampton, Massachusetts for its new studio. Attracted to the still-evident former grandeur and the raw potential of the theater, Nojo spent 7 months renovating the more than 10,000 square feet of space. Sloped floors were raised and leveled, pressed tin walls and ceiling uncovered, original architectural details discovered and 3 storefronts rebuilt, reversing the decades of neglect.

After completely re-wiring and re-plumbing the Theater, Nojo and 4 other businesses moved into the newly christened Nojo Studios. Recently, Nojo Design was awarded a grant from the state of Massachusetts to renovate the facade of Nojo Studios.
